I'm so extremely excited to share this collaboration with you. When Krista messaged me about helping put this together I was beyond ecstatic! I have known Krista since I was young, she was and is on of my uncles closest and dearest friends. I have worked with Krista for about a year now doing product shots for her business Hand Meets Sky as well as capturing her and her husband in her beautifully decorated perfectly crafted home. She loves design and all things vintage. And her carefully picked stunning traditional jewelry reflects her as an individual. She is truly a treasure. The clothing designer Jude, also a close friend is an absolutely amazing designer, his pieces are one of a kind and stunning! He is also a hair master and makeup artist....he's an amazing creative soul. Pictured below is his personal studio! Every corner is filled with some unique piece of art or trinket of some sort that has a story behind it.
Lets just say going into this shoot I was a little intimidated and anxious! Working with two absolutely amazing creatives I did not want to disappoint. I showed up early to see the space and just visit and hang out. It definitely helped relax my nerves a little. Judes vision for hair and makeup was so fun and eclectic, it was absolutely out of this world and he nailed it. Krista carefully pieced together her unique jewelry to Judes gorgeous Caftans. I loved seeing them in action, in their elements, creating.
Our models showed up ready to slay, and lets just say we created some magic! I captured so many images and had a very hard time narrowing it down for the gallery. I've shared a handful below.
